Terms of service
Last updated
These terms are the agreement between you and Afaq Ahmad, who runs Glitchmark. In short: only scan sites you own or are allowed to test, treat reports as help rather than guarantees, and know that paid plans are sold through Paddle.com, which handles payment, tax and refunds.
Who runs Glitchmark
Glitchmark is run by Afaq Ahmad, an individual based in Pakistan. You can reach us at support@getglitchmark.com.
What Glitchmark does
Glitchmark opens websites in real browsers, tests them at phone, tablet and desktop sizes, and reports what is broken in plain English, with fix prompts on paid plans. Some checks use AI to review screenshots.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. If you use Glitchmark for a company or a client, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for them.
Using Glitchmark fairly
- Only scan sites you own, or sites whose owner has allowed you to test them.
- Do not use Glitchmark to overload, attack or break into a site, or to reach private networks.
- Do not get around plan limits, for example with extra accounts, devices or addresses to get more free scans.
- Do not resell or copy the service, or use it for anything illegal.
We may pause or close access that breaks these rules.
Plans and payment
The plans, prices and limits are on the pricing page. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Paid plans renew automatically each month or year. You can turn renewal off at any time on the billing page: you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your workspace moves to the Free plan. We email you before each renewal. Paddle adds any sales tax or VAT your country requires. If a price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal.
When you move to a smaller plan, the change happens at the end of the period you paid for. Sites beyond the new plan's limit are archived, not deleted, and come back when you upgrade.
Sites
A site can be removed until its first scan. After that it stays in your workspace with its scans and reports, so its scans keep counting toward your plan. To change a scanned site, email support@getglitchmark.com; it costs a one-time fee of $10, which cannot be refunded once the site has been changed.
Refunds
You get a full refund of your first payment when you ask within 7 days of it, as long as no paid scan has run since. Renewals and later payments cannot be refunded, so each customer can get one refund. Moving from one paid plan to another ends the refund. While your first payment can still be refunded, copying and downloading fix prompts and reports unlock only when the refund ends. After a refund, your workspace moves to the Free plan straight away. The refund policy explains the details and how to ask. Your statutory rights in your country always apply.
Reports and fix prompts
Glitchmark's findings come from automated checks and AI review. They can miss problems, or report something that is not a problem. Fix prompts are suggestions: read them before you use them, and test your site afterwards. You are responsible for the changes you make to your site.
Your sites and reports
The sites you scan and the reports about them stay yours. You allow Glitchmark to visit, test and screenshot the pages you ask it to scan, and to store the results so you can see them. Screenshots are deleted 30 days after a scan on the Free plan and 365 days after a scan on a paid plan, whatever your plan is later; preview pictures of a site's home page are deleted after 7 days. We do not use your sites or reports to train AI models.
Glitchmark admins can view any site, scan and report, for support and to prevent abuse. If your account is deleted, the reports of your sites are kept, without your name or email address. The privacy policy explains what we collect and why.
Availability
We work to keep Glitchmark running and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without a promise that it will always be available or free of errors. Features can change as the product grows.
Responsibility and limits
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost sales, lost data or damage caused by changes made from a report. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
Ending
You can stop using Glitchmark at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. If we do, we email you the reason and how to appeal, unless the law or safety stops us. An account closed for abuse cannot sign up again with the same email address.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute goes to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections that the law of the country you live in gives you.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes too. For important changes, we tell customers by email at least 30 days before they apply.
